I have to thank my sister for the idea for this book. She came to me and asked me to write her a story about vampires. It took me ages to decide on what I wanted the vampires to do. Again, my sister suggested that I have them fighting demons, and so the seeds for Kindling Flames were planted. It's come a long way from vampires fighting demons, but I am happy with how it turned out.
