What did you dislike about "Gone Girl"? If it was the set-up of the book itself (i.e. alternating timelines and narrators) you won't enjoy this book. It actually has three narrators. If you disliked "Gone Girl" because of the grittiness, stark realism, and unreliable narrators, those are three more reasons you would dislike "The Girl on the Train". I personally loved this book. I was on the edge of my seat every chapter, which was not the case for me with "Gone Girl". If I had a longer attention span, maybe I would have liked "Gone Girl" more, haha(less)
