People come in all shapes and sizes, and I try to write about interesting ones. I'm not bothered about diagnoses, but readers are more than welcome to project away.
Lables like 'autistic' are applied externally by medical sorts. They come and go and don't have fundamental reality, so I tend to avoid them.

Good day! I was wondering if you could answer what might be a personal question. According to goodreads' numbers, you have written better liked books as the years passed. So I was wondering whether do you think you have become a better author at that time or were you able to write better liked books? (writing it so the audience likes it) I hope it is not too personal :)

Having read Prince of Thorns, and only just started King of Thorns, I am far from having read everything you have written about this setting, and generally I much prefer for answers to come as the author intends them - but this has been niggling at me and interfering with my enjoyment. Do you give some explanation about why magic should have arrived in your post apocalyptic world or is it left as a mystery?
