Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Crystal Bowling "With a Twist" is a modern-day adaptation of the much beloved "Pride and Prejudice"... only I've swapped the genders. Mr. Darcy is now a woman and Elizabeth Bennet is a dude.

I don't remember whether I was rereading Pride and Prejudice or watching the movie, but I do recall thinking, "this all started because Darcy had a serious case of resting bitch face." Seeing as how that condition seems to cripple women more than men, I thought it would be a fun take on the story to switch things up.
