I just finished the girl from the well and this is one of the best books I have ever read. The ending to this was beautiful. I immediately subscribed to your mailing list and saw that there will be a second book to this and I literally started screaming I am so excited. You have literally become my favorite author because of the girl from the well. I love your writing! Does the second book have a release date yet?

Thank you for the lovely compliment! :) I'm actually going through a round of edits for the sequel (called THE SUFFERING at the moment). I believe a paperback version of THE GIRL FROM THE WELL was originally scheduled to be out on July 2015, but may be fast tracked to May 2015 instead. This and THE SUFFERING will have complimentary new, creepy covers! I've seen them, and am itching to show them off once my editor approves the final versions!
As of this writing, the sequel is due out August 5, 2015, exactly a year after the first book's release. This may still change, so I'll make sure to announce it on my blog if it does!

Hello! I just started reading to my sister, The Girl from the Well. We both immensely love it! She loves the scary parts and I love the Japanese culture. It is a brilliant book, so my sister wants to know "What is the hardest thing about writing?" Again, we both love the book and can't wait for the next one! -Charlie
