From my understanding Water Walker is the first book of the "Outlaw Chronicles". I'm not sure if that is correct so I'm trying to figure out which one to read first. Can someone please help? Is it the first or is there another one and which order should I read them?

I read the third one first without knowing it was a part of a series, but it didn't affect the other books at all.
