How hard was it to get your first book published? What advice would you have for someone who is just starting to try and get something published?

Tami Hoag I wrote one book that didn't sell. I sat down and wrote another, and it sold right away. I was very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time with the right story. But the reason that happened was that I had done my homework on the publishing business. I knew which publisher I wanted to target. I knew where my book would fit in the marketplace. Educate yourself about the process of getting published, study the market and know where you belong in it and what your options are.

Hello! I love your books! Especially the Deeper than the dead series." I am always displaying them in my book shelves at my library. I wanted to know if you are planning on writing anymore murder mysteries set in the eighties? It was so refreshing to move away from all the technology that most books are now drowning in.
