does anyone know any books like this? not in the sense of LGBTQ, but rather in the sense of how beautifully captivating it's written. I haven't found any book i like more than this one, which is a little frustrating because everything is boring now.

Palacio might be an idea. It's not written similarly of really has similar characters. It's more of a children's book but definitely worth a read if you felt for the themes in this book.(less)
