does anyone know any books like this? not in the sense of LGBTQ, but rather in the sense of how beautifully captivating it's written. I haven't found any book i like more than this one, which is a little frustrating because everything is boring now.
Sundayscat Sáenz has written more books but i haven't read them yet so i don't know if they're as good.

Maybe you'd like Helen Dewitt's "The Last Samurai"? I think she has a beautiful writing style that's very easy to get lost in.
