Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Madelyn Smith I got the idea while talking to my husband while he was doing the dishes one night. We chatted about the amnesia trope, and why I love it and why he hates it. I felt motivated to write a story with the amnesia trope out of spite after that. I also just really loved the character arc for a main character in a famous kids movie. I decided to weave in similar themes while wrapping it around my tropes and setting. I picked a small town because I love small town romcoms, and then just started running with it. From there the series was born from side characters, and I'm excited to weave in my favorite tropes into their books.
