Jess asked Claire Boston:

Have you always wanted to be am author or did something inspire you to start writing?

Claire Boston Hi Jess,
I started writing when I was a child. I remember writing stories based on my favourite cartoons when I was six and always loved to write stories at school. I didn't start thinking about being an author until I graduated high school and I took a couple of creative writing units at university. That's when I started my first novel. It remained unfinished for many years as I began working full time and then one day, after a particularly hard week at work, I decided I didn't want to spend the rest of my life in that career. So I thought about it, decided I wanted to give writing another go and started writing regularly. It took me eight years and six novels before I got a publishing contract, and I have another three books coming out in the next twelve months.
