Not a question. Just a compliment. Night Guest was one of the best experiences I've ever had of reading a novel in translation. The language was so natural. There wasn't a single moment when I felt lifted out of the story because the English felt off. I guess my "question" needs a question mark for me to post?

I notice when I'm reading your Glamourist series that you manage to make what feels like a casual stroll through this world with Jane and Vincent (at least until the main conflict erupts) incredibly compelling. It's both relaxing and urgently demanding I get to the next page. So... How do you do that? Is it intentional?
