Hello! Do you tend to read books that lean towards your own style of writing or genre, or do you prefer to read books that are the complete opposite? Just curious as to the balance of learning from others and protecting your peace :)

I do tend to read non-middle grade fantasy books when I am just reading for pleasure, because reading MG fantasy feels like work to me! (Good work, but still.) I like all kinds of books, though. I usually have three going at a time -- one fiction, one nonfiction, and one in Italian.

Magnus Chase is my favorite Riordanverse series and I love it more than anything. I was wondering whether we'd get a continuation of the series; given that the ending was slightly ambiguous. Also, what are your thoughts on Blitzstone (Blitz x Hearth)? A lot of us ship them and I was wondering if you consider it canon or up to interpretation. (they are easily my favorite non-canon ship. Blitzstone supremacy)
