What's your writing process like? Any advice for creating your intense alpha male characters?

Amelia Hutchins I just think what would a caveman do? Lol! No, I imagine a rough draft, and I write about 3 pages in his POV, that way I can see into him and pull him out of it, and then I work on shaving off some of the roughness around his edges. I don't write sweet men, because they are easy to capture but the elusive alpha is pretty fun to write and if you can tie him down and watch how he fights to get up, you have an actual chance of capturing his essence.
