How clean is this; i.e., how many f-words, exclaiming God, or sex scenes?

The story in this book is excellent. However, there are way to many "f-words" throughout the entire book. I do remember one use of GD also. The book would have been a 5 star for me if it had not been for the extra language. Why do authors think that language of this sort adds to a book. For me this always takes away from the book.

Instead of counting words, it's more relevant to ask how the author handles "this sort" of language. It can & does add to a book if it is used for effect, is authentic for a specific character, event, or scene, & isn't gratuitous or overused to no point. This book fits that criteria & is very mild by today's standards.
