Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

One Layer Girl I've always been inspired by anime. I grew up watching anime as a child and as an adult I still continue to dabble in different anime series. I watched anime more than read comics/manga so when I first started making comics back in 2013, I was a little lost at first. But over the years, I found myself evolving. With my sapphic series, Our Little Universe, I was inspired to make a series like this because I wanted to see more diversity in yuri (lesbian) manga. When I came out as lesbian in late 2017, it was very hard to see myself in characters in this genre. So I figured why not make my own lesbian series with characters that look like me and that I can relate to more?
