Q Washburn
Q Washburn asked Daniel Wolff:

Mr. Wolff—I was recently leafing through a book of Guthrie songs that was my grandfather's, and in the song Joe Hillstrom I saw the lyric "Hey, Gurley Flynn, I wrote you a song,/ To the dove of peace. It's coming along", which of course made me think of Dylan's "Song to Woody" and your book. I don't recall seeing that comparison in your book, and I dunno, I was wondering if you were aware of it?

Daniel Wolff Woody was a cannibal, so it doesn't surprise me he cannibalized his own song (which was cannibalized to start - and later). But no, wasn't aware of this particular rewriting. Thanks.
