Sadly, I can't say that I've read your books, but my twin sister loves the Anna duology, and I plan on reading it sometime this year, hopefully. How did the idea for the Anna books come about?

Kendare Blake Cool! I'm glad she likes it and hope you do as well. The idea came about because I missed writing horror. Bloody stuff. Guts. I had been writing a lot of literary stuff and that was nice, but I missed the entrails.
