So then As for Lasgol, Ingrid, Astrid, Gerd, and the rest I take it that they will no longer be an upfront primary group and that the way for which Path of The Ranger ended will be pretty much the end for them? With Astrid and Ingrid rotting away in prisons and Egil and Gerd lost? And Lasgol without his memories of his friends and everything for which happened?

No, it is not the end for them. They will be crucial for the main plot of Path of Dragons, that has a new protagonist. They will be back and their stories will continue.

Now since the Ilenian Engima series takes place a few years after the Path Of The Rangers why is it that Lasgol couldn't remember any of his friends for which he had made in Path of the Rangers? He didn't even have Camu or Ona with him? And there was no explanations as to why. This has me wondering if your planning on killing off every one from Path of the Ranger.
