Deoline asked:

Why do people hate twilight ? I mean I get it every one has their own taste in books! But what wrong with a little creativity like Steph did with Cullen's? The point is everybody thinks vampire shouldn't be aloud in the sun and they should die with a stake in the heart and kill humans instead of animals ! So way do people hate twilight so much ?And don't even consider the fans feelings ?

Alice People also think that Bella is a Mary-Sue, or a person who is unrealistically perfect with no major flaws. Bella is supposedly "plain" and "ordinary" but she gets a ton of unrealistic attention and friends. The other vampires are unbelievably wealthy and perfect in every way. Critics also say that Bella and Edward's relationship is unhealthy. One example is that Edward literally stalks Bella by breaking into her house at night and watching her sleep.
Samantha I, personally, didn't like it because the writing was poor. There were so many errors and flaws that it really just annoyed me. I could care less that the vampires didn't die in the sunlight, or that they drank animal blood, all of that has been done before. But the characters, to me, had no dynamic and just fell flat. In my opinion, the plot was predictable and mediocre at best. I've even tried reading it again multiple times to see if i'd like it more, but I still dislike it as much as I did the first time I read it

Lydia I know Twilight and Harry Potter are two different books, but I am more for Harry Potter. I love JK Rowling's writing style, and Harry Potter had action. [[Back to twilight]] I really did not like the movies (no emotion from the characters) and I suffered my way through Twilight. Stephanie has some great potential and I think she could write a really good book(obviously, because this book is popular), but I just prefer wizard's to vampires.

Scarlett I totally agree. Except the writing wasn't that well done (I've seen better) but i'm not a hater like these people. Overall I liked the book and thought the plot was just fine. Maybe not as good as Harry Potter but it was fine compared to Stephanie Meyers standards. Bella didn't exactly like being the center of attention and didn't like being the damsel in destress so she is not really putting down females.
Hanieh Salehi it's not because the things she wrote, it's about the way she wrote them. they were not believable, and her work with words was awful.
Lourdes LaRochelle PEOPLE HATE IT BECAUSE IT IS HORRIBLE, THE WRITINGS POOR AND HAS NO MESSAGE
Yajaira Rangel I love twilight I seen all the movies
Ellie Kuhlmann I think because of views I've read off the internet some senseless people think Stephenie stole things from J. K. Rowling Harry Potter. I looked into it and it said that the last Harry Potter book was published the same time as Twilight,so it could mean she stole some things from Harry Potter but I believe that Stephenie is a good person and would never do such a thing (I hope)
Em Edward's creepy, Bella's boring, there's no plot until the last few pages of the book, the writing is bland. The characterization of vampires defeats the point of them. They're supposed to be scary, not glittery.
Alexis I don't mind the creative twist on it. I just think that Meyer's take on vampires has made them overpowered and pretty much invincible, that they're not really believable. It doesn't have to be sunlight, but a few weaknesses so that humans can stand a chance against them would help to make them more believable.
lem◍nade Oh, and you don't even consider the haters' feeling when you post a five-star review huh? Same logic.
the worst person you've never met I think some of the fans are the who don't consider feelings.
RbbieFrah You who love twilight know that it is a true work of art full if love , imagination and inspiration.
Just go on loving it .
As to the petty timid people that hate it . They have little or no imagination and their attention is confined to their pathetic boring lives . They are afraid of twilight but because of their ego they are too proud to admit it so rather than admit that they are afraid and awed by twilight they come up with whatever petty reasons they can to cover up the fact that they are just plain scared .
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Twilights hints at what can happen if humans reach their full potential. Being able to see into the future , being able to read minds being able to leap great distances and zoom at super speeds . It frightens the petty timid “rabbit people “ who are aware of no higher destiny that to eat and breed . But you who love twilight are consciously or semi consciously aware that while our bodies are limited our souls are limitless and we can do all these things and much more . These “rabbit people” do not feel the yearning to soar that our souls feel . They do not feel suffocated and disgusted with the run of mudane life and do not yearn for more like we do . Rather they are deeply afraid of that “more” admire jealous and hateful of those who are not afraid and don’t mind hurting them. ( think of the bully boy in August Rush who called him a freak and tried to get him to admit that he did not hear the music) Such are the people who hate twilight and jeer at it .
There is a Book I want to recommend to all the people that love twilight and are hurt that others hate it and spread false rumors about it to cover up the fact that they are scared of it . Try THIS book:
The Book of Mirdad by Mikail Niamy . It has a Good reads 4.43 star rating and it tells the different between “rabbit people” or “chicken people “ and people whose souls have become eagles . The Introduction to the Book of Mirdad states in large type :
THIS IS THE BOOK OF MIRDAD
A LIGHT HOUSE AND HAVEN FOR THOSE WHO YEARN TO OVERCOME
LET OTHERS BEWARE OF IT
If you are a yearner ( and I think those who love twilight are) you will find The book f Mirdad will help you .Its about unveiling God in man .
But wither you read Mirdad or not , Know that if you love twilight you are one of the eagle people that the frightened but proud rabbit people jeer at . You are like the butterfly about to hatch out of the cacoon with visions of flying in you imagination . They are the crawling caterpillars with no vision and no imagination always afraid of ceasing to exist as a caterpillar .They are like rabbits in their suffocating dens to afraid to venture out while you love to soar . So just soar high and leave them far behind .
