I don't want to be rude, but you kinda ruined the goes north book with Zoe. I know that this series happens in our world, and people are like Zoe, but I'm a Christian and I know that many more Christians read Goes North, and didn't like how it turned out. Will you have gay people in FJ or Charlie Thorne? I really hope not. People will stop buying your books/sets.

Stuart Gibbs Sadly, I was well aware that people would stop buying books because I presented gay people as real characters. I hoped it wouldn't happen -- and yet, the fact that it came to pass truly saddens me. I am not bothered by the loss of book sales. I am bothered by the fact that religious people -- who are theoretically concerned with being good -- are so closed-minded (or possibly even hateful) that they can't even bear to read about someone who differs from them. As far as I can tell from reading the bible, Jesus never said that behavior was okay. In fact, I'm pretty sure Jesus wouldn't behave that way.
