SOMETIMES THINGS ARE DONE FOR THE "GREATER GOOD". CAN YOU THINK OF ANYTHING THAT WHILE IT WAS DONE FOR THE "GREATER GOOD" YOU STILL WERE ABLE TO SEE THE OTHER SIDE TO THE SITUATION?

Glynnis Campbell Ethics are so tricky, aren't they? One of the "greater good" things that always troubled me is prescribed burning. I know the small preemptive fires are meant to protect forested areas from worse fires. Even the Native Americans did it to increase crops and prevent wildfire. But it's still hard to think about intentionally setting fire to plant and animal habitat.

I ONCE VISITED SOMEONE WHO LIVED IN AN APARTMENT AND WHEN I WAS THERE, I WAS GETTING THE FEELING THAT I HAD BEEN THERE BEFORE.
