Hello! I’m thinking of starting the Hellhound Collar series. Reading the blurb for book 4, it mentions “Shadow puppies.” Do these books contain mpreg or is the puppies a reference to something else? Thank you.

Some of the Hellhound Collar books have mpreg, although the "shadow puppies" reference in the blurb for book 4 relates to Patrick's terminology for Faron's Hellhound spirit that Patrick could see before he realized who Faron was. That one is not mpreg.
The prequel (Collar and Scruff) and Book 1 (Better than Sweets) are not mpreg (neither is book 4) but Precious Blue (#2) has mpreg elements in the last chapter of the book, and in Cain's Shadow (#3) there are also mpreg elements.
Incidentally, all of these stories can be read as standalone - as with most of my series reading other titles in the series simply helps understand secondary characters better, but in the Hellhound Collar series each of the books contains individual story lines.
I hope this helps. I know not all people like mpreg or MMM stories, so what I usually do is mark those titles that include those elements in the "Other Books By Lisa Oliver" section at the back of any of my stories.
