This book is a separate spin-off of the Captain Underpants series. As such, it's its own book and not really part of any series.
The book's ending had a promo for 'The Adventures of Ook and Gluk Jr: Kung Fu Cavekids in Outer Space' ("Coming Soon-ish"), but it doesn't look like it was ultimately published. Considering that it has since been self-cancelled by the author, it's pretty unlikely that there will be a second volume.
