Who has been your hardest character to write about and why was that?

Glynnis Campbell The most difficult emotionally for me was Temair O'Keeffe at the beginning of Desire's Ransom, because she witnesses her sister's suicide. My brother died of an accidental drug overdose, and I was the last to see him alive, so for me it was a very personal scene to write.
