Never in my LIFE have I ever obsessed over a book the way I did for A Bedtime Story. I have told EVERY single one of my book friends about this book and urged them to buy a copy for themselves. What was the inspiration for the story of Alexei and Aniska? Was it based on another folk tale? It was so well written it felt like a perfect pairing with Laura and Kayne's story.

It was (loosely) inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen (which incidentally was the inspiration for Disney's Frozen). 🙂
