why are there so many inconsistencies? like in savage wars when are blaster invented cause in the first one everyone except the savages and wild man use thumbnut them makaffie makes the n-1 in the second one and acts as if its the first blaster

The original blasters were relatively new and simple energy-based weapons distinct from pulse rifles and more akin to lasers. These were mentioned in book one. The N-1 was the next evolution of that technology by introducing the blaster bolt, which added a level of kinetic damage. The point that the N-1 could punch through Savage armor was made repeatedly to highlight the difference. This blaster bolt technology is continued all the way to Legionnaire, but the older blaster technology that is a simple energy weapon still exists and is easily ablated by certain types of armor.
