Emily McIntire Thank you so much!!! I'm assuming you're asking about my Never After Series: I was watching a YouTube video with my then two-year-old daughter, and it was a home recording of someone a live event of Peter Pan and Captain Hook. As soon as Hook came on the stage, the entire story of Hooked dropped in my head and James wouldn't shut up! I was actually on a deadline for book 3 in my Sugarlake series, and had to pause it to write the first 20K of Hooked just to get James to quiet down enough to go back to my other characters.
