Do the myths and stories that appear in the PJO universe include the Greek tragic plays (like the ones written by Sophocles and Euripides)? In other words, do characters like Antigone exist in Percy’s world?

Rick Riordan Great question. Usually I consider mortals from the ancient times as having passed on, so they existed, yes, but do not still show up in the modern world. There are plenty of exceptions though: Medea, for instance, and the Roman Emperors in Trials of Apollo.
