Goodreads asked Amy L. Rosner, Ph.D.:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Amy L. Rosner, Ph.D. If I had a dime for every time someone asked me why they hadn't heard of using hypnotherapy to help with their issue, I'd have an awful lot of dimes.

My newest book, which will be released soon, combines lessons I've learned from my clients with cutting-edge brain science to show that unconsciously oriented techniques such as hypnotherapy and NLP are fast and effective ways to reconstruct our concepts and memories, making these protocols useful for much more than just habit change like smoking cessation.

These processes resonate so well with so many people, but there is much misinformation out there that keeps many others from even trying them, from which they may benefit enormously.

This book is my way, as a brain researcher by training, to help people understand that these protocols are simply ways of hacking the brain by tapping into how it naturally works. No magic or voodoo - just natural healing with only positive side-effects like increased self-confidence and empowerment.
