It may not be the plot for an adult book, but there was one day where I lost a tooth (and I was past the age of believing in the tooth fairy) and told NO ONE that I lost it. Still, hoping to catch my parents in a lie, I stuffed the tooth in a bag and put it deep within my pillow case and went to bed. I woke up the next morning and money was under my pillow...and it stumps me to this day.
