I loved this novel but I'm not sure if the style would wear on me after a while and spoil my memory of this one. If anyone out there has read the other two in the trilogy, are they this sharp and witty, or do they read like afterthoughts added on after the success of this one ? That's definitely my usual experience of sequels and prequels.

Liz The prequal is excellent. The third book is ok, but I feel it tries to be too funny, and a la mode for when it was written i.e. less timeless
