Spoiler! Did anyone else notice that when Charlene’s daughter cleaned out her mothers possessions there was a photograph of baby with a similar birthmark as Tricia’s child?

Charissa Costa Bauhaus Yeeeessss… I went back an re-read that portion, and then the whole ending left me confused. I guess it makes sense that the baby was then adopted else…moreYeeeessss… I went back an re-read that portion, and then the whole ending left me confused. I guess it makes sense that the baby was then adopted elsewhere which leads to more questions about Charlene’s character, but that little “hint” was so out of line with the rest of the book. That final scene with the children was so unresolved. Really enjoyed the book but the ending left me feeling incomplete. (less)
