COLD COLD HEART was born out of THE 9TH GIRL when a character I expected to die fought back and survived a horrific ordeal. I have listened to many crime victims tell their accounts of survival against all odds, and I'm always amazed. How did they do it? What do they have in their characters that got them through it when someone else would have died? These are some of the questions I wanted to explore in COLD COLD HEART.

I know you struggle to finish writing under a deadline. Does the deadline truly help or just rush your story? Do you write outside or just at a desk? When you write, do you have an ending already set, or do your characters evolve and change the ending? ( I love your writing style and I can't wait for more of your books in my future)
