Penelope Douglas
I use many of my own experiences and expand on them. There is a reason why there are few "good" mothers in this series. Tate's is deceased, Fallon and K.C.'s moms are horrible, and Jared's is a recovering addict.
I've gone through many of the same things growing up that my characters have, but I spin it to add more meat to the story. Not necessarily autobiographical, but definitely inspired by actual events.
