What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Lisa Lee Curtis I think my very favorite thing since I've started writing full time is the feedback I get from people who were moved by something I said. I'm still finding myself taken aback a bit when someone says that something I wrote affected them in some profound way because, honestly, who the hell am I? No one too important in the grand scheme, so when something I've put out there into the cosmos makes someone feel something...that's just the best feeling ever.
