Cold, worthy, good...Jane is hot and passionate.
She also just had to go back to see Mr. R. She wasn't consciously aware what had happened to Bertha of course but she felt unfinished business. Something in her soul told her it was time to go back. If Bertha had still been alive, Jane would have said a goodbye to Mr. R and tried to move on.
