(view spoiler)[Hello! I'm only up to "Comet!" in the Ell Donsaii Stories, but I've noticed many instances of missing quotation marks, throughout. Maybe artifacts of the conversion process to Kindle format? Either way, I thought you'd want to know. (hide spoiler)]

Riplash,
Hope you're enjoying the books.
Thanks for your comment.
Missing quotes are one of the hardest things for reviewer/editors to catch. I'm not sure why. A few years ago I had a guy offer to edit the books who's turned out to be really great at catching them. But if you're good at it too, there may be a career in there for you - wink, wink.
If you want to help me catch mistakes in my books email me at ldahners@gmail.com. The pay's great!
Sorry, it's actually not. I do send out Amazon gift cards - most people seem to do it for the opportunity to read the book before anyone else or because they enjoy it.
They probably don't enjoy it as much as I like writing the books!

The Ell Donsaii series was fantastic (finished #18 Invasion this morning). Wonderful speculative science, and going so far (literally light-years) with just a few inventions! Will there be more, like maybe Aii2? Or are there other related series. As much fun as I've had with these I intend to read everything you've written, but wanted to launch to something related to ED if there is a series like that.

What scientific discovery have you made that forces me to buy your books the instant I find out that they have been published? Seriously, though, I have enjoyed all of your books and eagerly await new ones. Your stories have something in them that I've missed for a few decades: a sense of wonder from one simple question. "What if?" Thank you.
