Goodreads asked Morgan Biscup:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Morgan Biscup Switch things up. I have so many projects vying for my attention, when I can't work on what I'm "supposed" to be doing, I'll switch to something else for a bit. As a treat.

Might be another book. Or a short story. Or some worldbuilding. Heck, maybe a poem. Anything to get the creativity flowing again.

Or, when I can't get writing on anything, I'll bake. There's a psychological reward to finishing something, and when the words won't flow, sometimes all it takes is the sense of accomplishing something else first. And with baking, I get to eat it afterward, while contemplating what to write.
