Does this author lean in heavily on romance? This sounds so intriguing but I usually stay away from romance when I can, so that aspect gives me pause. I'm not asking if she writes romance well, just if it's usually a main plot point.

Sue The plot stands up as an action packed thriller with hints of romance. It is certainly not the main focus. The main focus is an insightful study of the impact of colonialism on individual sense of identity.
