Hi, Ms. Camden! I've read your book, The Spice King, and am currently reading A Gilded Lady. Both books are amazing and enjoyable! I was wondering, though, why is it called the "Hope and Glory" series?

Elizabeth Camden Hi Katherine! Books in a series always need a series title....often it is the last name of the characters, but "The Delacroix Trilogy" seemed awkward. My publisher suggested "Hope & Glory" because it has a very patriotic vibe. The phrase is often associated with national pride and aspirations..... and this is big in Book 2, and especially in Book 3. I certainly hope you get to Luke's book, because its my personal favorite :-)

I absolutely love Into the Whirlwind and all it's fantastic characters. Would you ever consider writing a sequel or even a spin-off so we can find out what happens to them all next, not just Elizabeth and Zack, but Declan and Sophie as well? - I actually think Sophie might be a really interesting protagonist for her own book, when she has grown up. And then we could get little glimpses into the lives of the others?
