Read all 4 Greatcoats books in less than a week, a testament to my enjoyment of them & my ability to not sleep. I really loved the friendship between Falcio, Kest and Brasti- so well written! I’m already missing their voices in my head… although it is now quieter in there which is probably better for my sanity! You’ve mentioned they’ll be back- will that be fronting their own series again or as cameos in others?
Sebastien de Castell
Really delighted that you enjoyed the Greatcoats Quartet, Emma.
In the short term, both Falcio and Kest appear in some of the short stories in my Tales of the Greatcoats collection, which you can find here: https://decastell.com/book/tales-of-t...
In the upcoming Court of Shadows series, Falcio, Kest and Brasti will be making cameos now and then, but won't be in starring roles for some time yet; they deserve a break after all they went through in the first four books!
Best,
Sebastien

Hi Sebastian, I finished the spellslinger series (Brilliant) and have now started Traitor's Blade. I was wondering that since the greatcoats and traitors blade are set in the same universe just different continents. And since the Ebony Abbey is on a different one from Kellens, and possibly also a different one from Falcio's (Don't know the continents name yet.) whcih one is closer to the Abbey?

Hello! Every time I read a book of the Spellslinger-series, I fall even more in love with this world. Are there going to be maps of all the countries for these books? I loved tracing my fingers along while reading the Greatcoats-series, and I would love to do the same with Kellen's adventures. I'm also terrible at remembering where every place is and a map would be simply awesome.

My brother showed me your book (Traitor's Blade) a couple of years ago. He picked it up because it sounded good. I finally bought a copy and I'm on page 58 having just started today. I just wanted to tell you that it's damn good. Your writing is excellent and the dialogue is stellar. Right out of the gate you've endeared me to the main characters. I've ordered the next two already. When's the movie?
