Goodreads asked James Walter Lee:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

James Walter Lee When I run into writer’s block, I know haven’t done enough plotting and asking myself the questions needed to maintain a consistent flow when I’m writing. So I'm left with three choices: pause and find the answers to my questions, work on a different scene, or add inline notes to myself in parentheses and keep writing. If the latter fails, then I have to resort to one of the first two.
