I like your book reviews and often consider books to read (or hear) based on your reviews and ratings. I have recently started listening to the audio version of Black Corridor in Story Tel. In your review of the third book in the series, you mentioned the characters that were part of the book. Can you please update your reviews of Books 1 and 2 and mention the characters or topics covered in them?

The third volume uses characters (i.e. certain persons who had been assassinated) as the chapter-headings. Hence I had mentioned them. Since the first two volumes were about incidents and operations, naming the characters would be misleading. The topics were also not mentioned in the books separately, since the serialised publications didn’t bear any such titles. Because of these two reasons, I didn’t mention the characters or topics.

প্রণাম নেবেন দাদা।.বাংলা বইয়ের ক্ষেত্রে, বাবু'দা আপনাকে গুরু মেনে চলতে বলেছেন। আপনাকে মাঝে মধ্যে উটকো প্রশ্ন করে বিব্রত করবো। আপাতত প্রশ্ন নারায়ণ সান্যালকে নিয়ে। প্রশ্ন এইটাই যে যে-যুগে ইন্টারনেট ছিলনা , সেখানে এই আশ্চর্য ভদ্রলোক কেমন করে নিজের রিসার্চ করতেন বলে আপনার মনে হয় স্যার ?

নমস্কার ঋজুবাবু, বহুদিন আগে Facebook-এ আপনি একটা সামাজিক গল্প সঙ্কলন নিয়ে আলোচনায় বইটির বেশ প্রশংসা করেছিলেন, লেখক বা বইয়ের নাম কিছুই এখন মনে নেই। শুধুমাত্র মনে আছে প্রচ্ছদে ঝাড়লণ্ঠন বা কোনোরকমের বাতির ছবি ছিল। আপনার যদি মনে পড়ে তবে kindly বইটার নাম একটু জানাবেন? আর আগত halloween এবং ভূত চতুর্দশী উপলক্ষে যদি কিছু ইংরেজি ও বাংলা anthologies বা novels suggest করেন তো খুব খুশি হব। ধন্যবাদ।
