Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Thornton Cline The idea for my most recent book was based on a true story. I am a certified registered Suzuki violin teacher. One day about two years ago I was teaching a young boy when suddenly he noticed his violin was getting rather small in size because he was growing so much. I joked that his violin must be shrinking. Thus the idea came for "The Amazing Incredible Shrinking Violin". I realized I might be able to motivate young students to practice by writing this book to inspire them.
