What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Aimee Nicole Walker Here is the advise I've read from writers that I adore. Write the book for you. Tell the story that is in your heart and mind. Get a friend or family member you can trust who can beta read and offer an honest opinion on your work. You don't want someone who is just going to tell you what you want to hear. You need someone who will offer constructive criticism so that you can grow. Constructive criticism is meant to help, not hinder or hurt. It's not easy putting yourself out there for others to judge. Be proud of yourself for following your dreams. That is not something everyone can say about themselves.
