I am halfway though, and I don't care about the characters yet. Very unusual for me with Ann Patchett. Anyone else find this was the case? I've been reading glowing reviews. I'm not feeling it -- yet.

But I was disappointed in the whole format, and especially the ending. Glad to see I’m not the only one to feel let down. (less)
