I hoped it would get better but it just didn’t. Very disappointed in Ann Patchet.
I also need to add that the comment made about “heroin addicts” at the carnival was shocking to me.
I will never read another one of her books. (less)

Amy Kasprzak It is shocking to me to make fun of people suffering with heroin addiction. This prolongs the stigma that people with addiction are losers/bad people. ...more
