Is there a specific order the Defiance series need to be read in? Do I need to read all of Houston before moving on to Chicago and then finally NOLA? Thanks!

So technically Chicago was written first, then Houston, and NOLA is still currently being written. If you wanted the timeline to flow from one book to the other, I would start with Chicago, then move to Houston, then onto NOLA. But you don't have to read them in that order, the three series can be read in any order.
