How graphic is the violence in this book? And how much is there?

That being said, a large part of the book i…moreI personally didn't find it too bad since the majority of the violence is between aliens/monsters/puppets. That being said, a large part of the book is battle scenes so if you don't like that, I would skip. Most of the gore is via swords (swords clashing, creatures being stabbed in various ways, etc.) and alien poisons/bites. There also is description of some human death and injury, including a hand injury, eye injury, stabbing, poisoning, etc. I didn't feel bad or gross reading it personally, but if LOTR movies/books bother you, this book has similar types of gore iirc.(less)
